UNDP has been at the forefront of addressing the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution through a multidisciplinary approach that tackles all three dimensions. The Funding Windows accelerated the transition to inclusive green economies, supported the adoption of renewable energy sources, developed climate-resilient infrastructure, and mitigated biodiversity loss through global programmes, while empowering vulnerable and marginalized populations to become leaders in environmental conservation efforts and sustainable energy practices.
